One of our traditions when we go trailering is to make apple and cherry pies with the Rome Jaffle iron. I think having waffles for breakfast or supper could become a new tradition.

@bigjohn20081983 There are detailed instructions on the packaging. It is basically wash the wax off of the new iron, heat then coat with oil, let cool then heat and oil again until a good seasoning takes hold. Rome also has a very detailed video on their web site.
